The left-hand model retains all of the same high-quality parts and features as the standard 457 Varmint. The heavy barrel not only makes for good harmonics, but it also allows the Varmint to perform well with a wide variety of rimfire loads, translating into an accurate platform for shooting targets or getting game. The Turkish walnut stock has an American-style comb for use with a scope and a wide, flat forend that rides a sandbag well. Laser-cut stippling gives grip fore and aft. It also features the same 60 bolt throw, allowing for a much easier scope fitment. Finally, the trigger will still be adjustable for weight, creep, and over-travel allowing you to set the trigger exactly how you want it.
